Well at least I’m actually sticking to my guns at this point. I actually accomplished what I set out to do this weekend. I got the History page up and running, which was a huge undertaking I might add. I also got an essay written, so there’s some actual content to the site now. I have a couple other ideas that I will be implementing shortly. I did some tiding up around here as well, changing little things here and there. The trained eye will catch the changes, although most people probably won’t. Either way it was for my piece of mind only.

Today I didn’t do much of anything. Last night I got pretty drunk, so I slept in kind of late for once. Most of the day I sat around, but I did get out and get my car washed (I was just waiting for the rain to subside). Later on tonight some of my buddies are coming over, and more drinking will ensue. My friend Herbie let me borrow a 15″ sub that I’m going to put in my car, as my 12″ blew up. Not because I was pushing it to hard, but because it was a generic piece of shit. The sub I borrowed is supposedly a pretty good one, but it’s just temporary until I have the money to buy a new one. Howard told me that he could get me a Rockford Fosgate 12″ for like $50. So I’ll probably go that route. I’m just happy that my amp isn’t fried, because that’s the expensive part of a system. Otherwise, things are pretty boring around here. I’ll be back later.

Yeah, so I have some great news for everyone. I’ve officially joined the “I don’t have a fucking job and I love it” club. And if you didn’t note the sarcasm in that remark, you’re a goddamned retard. Yeah. Check it out. I went to go get my check yesterday (friday the 14th, for those of you who can’t seem to read a calender) and instead of just receiving a check, I also received an unemployment package, lay off papers, and a second check, containing the rest of the money they owed me. The excuse? We don’t have enough work to keep you guys busy, but you are all unreliable anyway. I laugh at this, because I was there every day (aside from rain), on time, and I always did what I was told. The other guys that started around the same time as me however, were quite unreliable. Adam called in sick all of the time, said his grandma was in the hospital (but when we worked together at pepboys, I could have sworn he called in because his grandma died), his car broke, etc. Chris also called in sick all of the time, or said his truck needed work, or just didn’t call at all because he slept through his alarm because he got too drunk the night before to care. But I got laid off. I swear to god, if they don’t get laid off (I haven’t talked to either of them yet) I’m buying a gun. So yeah, I’m unemployed as a motherfucker right now. I don’t really have any prospects either. I’m just fucking pissed because I’m getting too old for this shit. I need to get a career going, not keep jumping from job to job. At least this time I’m without a job I can get unemployment. Which I’m going to sign up for on Monday. That should get me by until I get something else. And the pay I got yesterday will get me by until the unemployment kicks in. At least I got paid well enough that I can pay my credit cards and I have enough to pay my rent now. Hopefully the unemployment pays well enough so that I can get by. It should. Damn, I need a cigarette.

I could go on, but I’ll spare you. Otherwise, I did one thing for the site. I completed the history page.
