Thinking back, I do recall seeing this award go around the blogosphere before, but I had never been nominated in the past. Doone was kind enough to nominate me, and that gives me an opportunity to write about myself, which comes pretty naturally. But I suppose I should throw some kind words Doone’s way, so here goes: Doone is a fantastic writer, and an out-of-the-box thinker. He has brought many topics to the table that most of us either avoid, don’t care about, or otherwise haven’t written about. Not only that, but as a regular contributor to Couch Podtatoes, Doone gets around, and enriches our community. He’s also a baby factory, so I hear 😉

I love extreme metal. I make a mean won-ton. I dislike jean shorts. I used to think I was an “ass man,” but have started to believe I’m more of a “boob man.” I listen to a lot of dub-step in my car. The Dark Tower is my favorite series of books. I aspire to be paid for writing. I always wanted to be a radio talk show host (hence the podcast). I also always wanted to be in a band (and was, for a short time). My dream car is a Subaru WRX STi. I think religion should be outlawed.

What is the best made game you ever played?

I’m going to go with Skyrim, because it’s a game I’ve spent a lot of time with in recent years.

Your favorite ice cream and/or dessert?

Cookie dough. Pumpkin pie/Cheesecake.

Are you lazy? Why?

It really depends on the day, but I’d say I’m pretty lazy. Some days I get motivated though. I suppose it’s just my persona, I like to lounge and play games or watch movies.

Why do you write?

To be famous, obviously. And I enjoy it.

What’s your proudest moment in a video game?

I was pretty proud of getting the Platinum trophy in Skyrim. Many hours to get there. Also getting out of Bronze Tier in League of Legends.

What’s a dream you’re still pursuing?

The American dream. To be self-sufficient and content.

Among your group of friends, which friend-type are you (the crazy one, quiet one, ambitious one, planner, designated-driver, etc.)?

Of what you listed here, probably the planner. I don’t fly by the seat of my pants often. I’m also the one with the big mouth.

What do you do to get away from it all?

Escape into virtual worlds. Pot helps.

How many fingers am I holding up?

One. And it’s not the ring finger.

Do you like dancing? Why or why not?

I do not. I have no rhythm, I don’t find enjoyment in it. I’d rather do the horizontal mambo. In bed.

My ability to talk myself out of nearly any situation.
