This week we dive into the topic of Permadeath Mechanics. First we talk about things we’ve been playing this week, then dive into the discussion. We talk about some examples of games that use the mechanic (mostly Rogue-likes and survival games) successfully, but then we also try to figure out a way for these types of mechanics to work in MMOs.
