By The Numbers: Week 3, 2017

Week 2 most definitely didn’t go as I expected. Starting off slow again, the Packers went from a 7-7 tie vs. the Falcons, to a ten point deficit rather quickly. This wasn’t insurmountable though, and shouldn’t have been the end of the game but due to a TERRIBLE offensive pass interference call, we had a first down play called back and then a few snaps later, there was a forced throw that turned into an interception and points for the Falcons. We still had a chance after this to climb back into the game, but another poor throw while being hit was ruled a lateral and gave the Falcons even more points. Some valiant efforts late in the game made it appear to be closer than it was, but shitty officiating cost us that one. I don’t care about losing the 2nd game of the season though, plenty of teams are 1-1 at this point, and 1-1 is better than 0-2. It’s not the end of the world, but we can expect to see the Falcons again later in the playoffs, so hopefully next time things will be firing on all cylinders by then.

This week the Packers face off against the Bengals, whose arrow doesn’t really seem to be pointing up. I’d assume that we’ll be able to take them down and head into week four 2-1. Here are the rest of my picks:
